Shortly before the release of his new album MR. MORALE & THE BIG STEPPERS, the American rapper Kendrick Lamar has published the album cover on Instagram – and thus disclosed private details. The picture shows the rapper, who normally reveals little about his private life, with his now almost three-year-old daughter in his arms. A handgun is stuck in Kendrick’s waistband and he wears a crown of thorns reminiscent of Jesus Christ on his head. In the background, his longtime girlfriend Whitney Alford holds a newborn baby in his arms: Kendrick Lamar has apparently become a father for the second time.
In his recently released music video “The Heart Part 5” the 34-year-old rapped in the plural of his children. He also talks about his wife in the song. It’s unclear whether he and Whitney Alford actually got married.

By the way, “The Heart Part 5” is not a single from Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming album. Rather, the “The Heart” series is an independent project. The multiple Californian Grammy award winner has not yet released a single from the album, which will be released on May 13th. Recently there have been rumors that MR. MORALE & THE BIG STEPPERS is even supposed to be a double album. The truth of the rumors will probably only become apparent on the release night.
