“My name is Kelly van Zuijdam (1995) and I am a social media editor. I first followed a bachelor’s degree in Communication and then did a master’s degree in Journalism & New Media. In 2020 I started as a freelancer at NU.nl and worked at the same time as a social media manager at a creative magazine. I have been working full-time on the social media editorial staff of NU.nl since 2021. I am involved with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We make news on these channels that suits our target group, in both text and images. Photoshop is my specialty and I enjoy developing new formats to make our stories stand out even better on social media.”
