Kees Tol is disgusted by juice channels such as that of Yvonne Coldeweijer (35). He claims to pay absolutely no attention to that. “I don’t look at all that,” the 40-year-old presenter barks.
The celebrities roll over each other to shout how awful they find all those juice channels. They just want to go back to eighteen months ago, when they were still relatively safe with RTL Boulevard and Shownieuws as gatekeepers. This time it is Kees Tol’s turn to express his disgust at Yvonne Coldeweijer and her colleagues.
Kees is disgusted by it
Kees is disgusted by all those juice channels. He says he doesn’t follow all that. “I don’t look at all that,” he says resolutely in the podcast by Paul de Leeuw.
Paul: “No, but well, I don’t look at it either, but I am confronted with it.”
Kees: “Uhh, luckily not me yet. No, I try to pay as little attention to that as possible. Also the Mediacourant and that kind of misery: I don’t look at it all.”
A bit like what the TV viewer has with Kees’ programs.
Paul on juice
Sidekick Hans Kesting: “The juicy channels (that’s how people over forty pronounce ‘juice channels’, ed.) are actually gossip channels, but even worse than gossip magazines, aren’t they?”
Paul: “On YouTube. Hard evidence, but it is mainly spies who pass things on to those juicy channels, such as Thijs Römer recently came under fire for asking a 14-year-old girl to send photos so that she got a role in one of his series. Such a girl now writes to a juicy channel at the age of 20 to tell that and then it comes out.”
Last in Volendam?
Then Paul asks Kees: “Does that bother you as a Volendam?”
Kees: “I personally don’t mind, thank God, but you just said: ‘It is based on evidence’, but I don’t think that’s the case with those juicy channels.”
Paul: “Yes, they are often right. I’m not going to stand up for them, but Yvonne Coldweijer (meaning Coldeweijer, ed.) has of course talked a few times with her channel and about Hazes news… And there are spies, people who can easily track those channels down.”
No eel spies
Kees points out that Yvonne has no spies in Volendam in any case. “I have to say: that is a very big advantage if you come from Volendam. Volendam residents really protect each other in that respect. If I’m at a party with friends and people from Volendam around me, then there is really no one who will secretly take pictures or videos of me when I’m puking in the corner, for example.”
Paul: “I also think it’s terrible those people who take pictures to send it on.”
Kees: “I’ve never had that, but I’m not Brad Pitt, am I?”
