Kees (77) recreates Van Gogh paintings so that we can learn something from them

“Vincent van Gogh made art out of total misery”, Van Gogh enthusiast Kees Rovers from Nuenen tells in his garden. “My grandchildren don’t know that anymore. As a result, it loses its value.” In order to keep the memory alive, he recreates the works of art life-size. And his shed is still full of them. In this video he shows you around his tableaux vivants.
