Keanu Reeves’ band Dogstar releases new album

SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THE POWER LINES AND PALM TREES is the indie rock band’s third studio album.

After a musical break of more than 20 years, Dogstar returns. The Californian indie rock band led by Keanu Reeves releases their third studio album SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THE POWER LINES AND PALM TREES. The twelve tracks on the record represent the first music since their 2000 work HAPPY ENDING.

The Hollywood star founded the band Dogstar in the 1990s with guitarist and singer Bret Domrose and drummer Robert Mailhouse. Since the release of their 1996 four-track EP QUATTRO FORMAGGI, the trio has toured the world, played at the Glastonbury Festival, opened for David Bowie and toured Australia with Bon Jovi. After a performance in Japan in 2002, the band became quiet. The members went their separate ways. From then on, Reeves was seen as an actor on the big screen.

When the indie rock band appeared on stage together again for the first time at the “Bottle Rock Napa Valley” music festival at the beginning of the year, fans’ hopes for a new album also increased. Dogstar released the singles “Everything Turns Around”, “Breach” and “Glimmer” shortly afterwards, giving a taste of the sound of the record.
