Kayla Shyx doesn’t care what’s in store for her

How is Kayla Shyx doing? Not only many Rammstein fans asked themselves that recently. The YouTuber attracted a lot of attention with a video in which she made her experiences with an after-show party Till Lindemann public. In it she also spoke of great fear that she would have had.

In a new clip, the 21-year-old now says that she has deliberately taken a break from the Internet in the past few days. But now she was impressed and also a little shocked by the effect her portrayal of the band’s celebrations, which had been discussed for weeks and which allegedly also involved sexual abuse, had.

Shyx, whose real name is Kaya Loska, says she was “overwhelmed, touched and surprised” when she learned that more than five million people watched her video and that her statement was an important part of the debate about alleged abuse of the musician and his has become helpers.

The YouTuber described in her clip how she was invited by Alena Makeeva to a party by Till Lindemann on June 4, 2022, together with an accompaniment. A situation that is ultimately frightening for them.

“The aftermath of the Rammstein problem”

Shyx’s new video is now titled “The Aftermath of the Rammstein Problem”. In it she reports how she has been doing lately and that she has now received mail from the Rammstein singer’s lawyer. Accordingly, she received a request from numerous media in Germany to comment on the subject, but rejected all requests for comment with regard to her own mental health. The very different reactions of the people, but also the dynamics of the discussion about Rammstein simply overwhelmed them.

In the meantime, Shyx also says in an Instagram post that she must be prepared for the legal consequences of her statements made on YouTube. She finds the mail, which she received from a “very large and well-known law firm in Berlin” that Lindemann represents, to be “intimidating work”. The 21-year-old is combative: “For my part, I know that I’m only telling the truth. I would repeat everything like that in court, I don’t give a shit what’s in store for me.”

She wants to encourage victims of sexual abuse to face the difficult situation and to accuse the perpetrators. She herself was sexually harassed at the age of 17. Only if people don’t allow themselves to be intimidated by such acts of abuse of power, she says, can there be social change.
