Goalkeeper Nikolas Katsigiannis leaves the handball Bundesliga club Rhein-Neckar Löwen at the end of the season and changes to the current table bottom TuS N-Lübbecke.
As announced by East Westphalia, the 39-year-old has signed a non-league two-year contract. The former national player switched to the Löwen in October 2020 in need of personnel, for whom he has played in 62 competitive games so far.
“With the great handball tradition in Lübbecke, I have the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility,” said Katsigiannis. He was “still in the mood to play handball”. In addition, “I’ll be closer to home again,” added the Munsterlander.
