Katja Schuurman is not averse to using magic mushrooms from time to time. She has through the use of the so-called magic mushrooms received certain insights about her recent divorce from cook Freek van Noortwijk, the presenter told the TV program on Sunday Farm of Thirst.
“Mushrooms are a fantastic invention,” Schuurman says in the program to presenter Raven van Dorst and fellow guest Douwe Bob.
“Yes, that’s something genius, what that does to you. I had to deal with my previous divorce, so I took magic mushrooms and got all kinds of insights. Then I processed everything in that trip at that moment.”
Schuurman married Van Noortwijk in 2019. Their relationship ended at the end of 2021. Together they had a daughter, Coco Loulou. Schuurman was previously married to Thijs Römer, with whom she has daughter Sammie. He is now twelve years old.
