On Saturday (8:30 a.m., CET) the women’s cross-country relay over the 4×5 kilometers will take place at the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing. “Team D” sends Katherine Sauerbrey, Katharina Hennig, Victoria Carl and Sofie Krehl into the race.
Sauerbrey starts, Krehl finishes
Sauerbrey is the first runner on the cross-country ski trail, Sofie Krehl is the last runner. In the sprint on Tuesday, Carl and Krehl showed a decent performance. Both runners made it into the semifinals of the top twelve runners, but were eliminated there in a strong run.
