Kate Middleton has perfected a technique of his own in the way of holding the bag: it’s called “Cambridge Carry”. When she holds it with both hands it means that, without wanting to sound rude, she doesn’t want to shake other people’s hands. It seems like she adopts it whenever she has to talk to someone she doesn’t know. A secret to be copied for sure, but apparently subject to variations. Because she used this technique in the presence of her in-laws, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla.
Kate Middleton with the “Cambridge Carry”
The Duchess of Cambridge attended an event organized by the The Prince’s Foundation training site for arts and culture at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London. For the occasion, she “recycled” a Catherine Walker dress with a black collar. As accessories she has combined a pair of Gianvito Rossi chunky heels and a Mulberry England shoulder bag that can be carried either by hand or as a crossbody.
First public engagement with the heir to the throne
The English press notes that this was the first public engagement of Middleton with the heir to the throne and his wife Camilla. Last time they were photographed together with the G20 in Scotland.
Kate will be increasingly committed to the institutional level. Queen Elizabeth has given her new “patronage” after Prince Harry’s “resignation” from working royal. From February 6, she and the entire firm will also have to represent the queen for the Platinum Jubilee.
