And of these, as many as 18 were completed without straying too far from Adelaide Cottage, William and Kate’s new home in Windsor. But from her, her fans say, we expect much more.

Middleton, 41, is not new to such criticisms. Since she joined the Royal Family, the princess has been accused several times of not dedicating herself enough to her role: the number of commitments entrusted to her by the royal house is on average much lower than those completed at the same age by Lady Diana, also a mother of still young children. And the same accusation was made against her husband William.
William and Kate work little, but for the sake of their children
The Princes of Wales are justified by the fact that, while George, 9, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5, are still in elementary school. they don’t want to stray too far from their official residence. And they will continue, therefore, to adapt their schedule of Royal events to that of Lambrook School, the institute near Windsor in which all three children are enrolled.

It was the queen herself who assured Kate and William, on the eve of their wedding in 2011, that they would respect their wishes regarding the way in which they set out to raise their children. A promise that the 74-year-old King Charles now intends to fulfill as much as possible, taking on more responsibility to leave his son and daughter-in-law free. With the essential collaboration of the very busy Anne of England, 72, and Sophie, new Duchess of Edinburgh, 58, who are not complaining (in public) for now.

Does Kate deserve a new “title”?
On social media it was immediately given another nickname for Middletona “headline” that is now also very popular with British tabloids: Princess of Sloughinspired by the city of Berkshire – the same county in which the Wales live and in which they have already played various official and unofficial engagements this year.
But the nickname is not flattering at all. Slough is famous for being the location of the original series of The Office, created by British comedian Ricky Gervais for the BBCand for this it has gained a reputation as a boring and depressing city, often ridiculed in the British media.
