Four years after her album BAD BEHAVIOR, Kat Frankie will release her fifth studio album SHINY THINGS on May 13, 2022. After the two singles “Shiny Things” and “The Sea” had already been released, the third herald “Love” followed.
The new single is a duet with solo singer and multi-instrumentalist Fama M’Boup (Olicía). The love Kat Frankie mentions here may be resigned and abandoned, but her singing conveys a warm sense of embrace.
Sydney singer Kat Frankie started writing her own songs at the age of six. She was particularly influenced by her mother’s folk record collection. She made her debut in 2007 with her album POCKETKNIFE. Here is an overview of all tour dates for Kat Frankie’s Germany tour this year:
