Radio host Karoliina Tuominen is one of the persons seen in the videos circulating on social media in which the Prime Minister Sanna Marin (sd) spend the evening dancing and partying.
Tuominen tells Iltalehti that the videos show a “good group” where “everyone is having fun”.
Tuominen does not know how the videos ended up on the internet.
– They really don’t belong there, Tuominen says.
Tuominen says that he had seen the leaked videos before. However, they were filmed for private use.
Tuominen does not comment on how he knows Marin or the other people shown in the videos.
– It’s a real shame that they have started to spread, when they don’t belong anywhere in the mainstream media.

The videos that spread on social media were reported on Wednesday. Tuominen says that according to his experience, people have received the video in different ways.
– Some understand that an evening has been spent there. A lot of grown people spend an evening like that. Sometimes alcohol is also part of it. I don’t think there’s anything strange about that other than the fact that it’s now available for everyone to see.
According to Tuominen, the evening’s alcohol consumption was “pretty normal”. He denies that other substances were used in the evenings.
The evening continued to the bars
Marin said on Thursday that the party took place a couple of weeks ago, but refused several times to reveal the location or time of the party. Marin said that the prime minister’s security guards were in the area, but not in the private apartments in question.

In addition, Marin opened up about the progress of the party. The evening had first been spent in two private apartments, the latter of which had just under twenty people. The party continued in two more bars.
– Yes, even there I sang, danced and hugged my friends and drank alcohol, Marin said.
Marin was also asked if he plans to continue spending time with the same circle of friends who leaked the videos to the public.
– Yes, I’m still going to be friends with my friends.
Marin was asked if the police should investigate the events.
– I still don’t know that anything illegal has happened. It would hardly be a police matter then.
– I have nothing to conceal or hide, and I haven’t done anything illegal, says Marin.
