16 goals in the Challenge League
After the loan transfers of right winger Paul Nebel (from 1.FSV Mainz 05) and striker Mikkel Kaufmann (HSV), second division club Karlsruher SC presented the next new signing for the offensive: Baden signed attacker Simone Rapp from FC Vaduz, the 29-year-old signs a two-year contract with the people of Baden.
“Simone Rapp has a degree of security and thus ideally complements our attack. With him, along with Fabian Schleusener, Mikkel Kaufmann, Malik Batmaz and Stefano Marino, we are now well positioned up front,” explained KSC Managing Director Oliver Kreuzer. In the second Swiss league, the right-footed player contributed 18 goals in 24 games last season. In Karlsruhe he is to receive shirt number 7. “I’m looking forward to the fans in the BBBank Wildpark and to the great football in Germany. I’ve only seen it on TV so far, so it’s all the better that I can experience it now. I want to play a consistent season in Karlsruhe and then we’ll see what’s possible!”
