Wellness entrepreneur Karita Tykkä dedicated her most recent podcast episode to the topic of how everyone could be a better version of themselves.
With love, Karita in an episode of his podcast Tykkä bites into the nooks and crannies of food, sleep, exercise, beauty, lifestyle and mind.
Tykkä strongly believes in the saying “you are what you eat”. Tykkä bases this on the fact that the entire human body renews itself in about seven years – food is its building material.
– It really doesn’t matter what we eat. Then if we think that you are what you eat – so pay attention, you are what you eat, so how do you want to look? Are you eating that crap, some artificial food, and then you look like it? There is no vitality, there is no energy. It’s cool, I like to download it.
– Or do you want to be that free, fresh, energetic and bursting with vitality? You can think. At least I am the latter, Tykkä continues.
Tykkä posted a taste of the podcast episode on his Instagram account. The section in question has been cut to be more concise for the Instagram video. The Tykka inspiring episode has been praised in the comments, but it has also attracted criticism.
– Hi Karita, I sent you a message about this episode, it didn’t reach you yet. It’s good that you cut the friendlier parts of this video. Unfortunately, this sounded very different on your podcast, commented one listener.
– The uncut clip of the episode turned out to be a really narrow-minded and judgmental picture. Fortunately, I have thicker skin these days, so when I hear something like this, I don’t take it in, the other continues.
Tykkä has answered the comments and told what he was chasing.
– The idea was to give the impression that each of your cells is really made up of what we eat, and our essence and energy level are often like that. Nothing else. I was just trying to help here too – apparently it went wrong… I’m sorry if someone has blocked this otherwise. I’m not judging anyone, on the contrary. And my intention is to support, help and inspire you to live your own life, comments Tykkä.
