Karel Sabbe becomes an honorary citizen of Anzegem
Karel Sabbe ran as 17 yesterdaythe once completed the Barkley Marathons and now sees his achievement rewarded with the honorary citizenship of the municipality of Anzegem. Only persons who have achieved an exceptional performance can be made an honorary citizen. Sabbe will be nominated as an honorary citizen during the April city council, but mayor Gino Devogelaere (Samen Een) does not expect any opposition.
