Musician Kanye “Ye” Westin a spokesman says the gig scheduled for the artist’s Grammy Gala has been canceled. The rapper was scheduled to perform at the gala on April 3rd.

The reason for the cancellation of the gig was said by the organizers of the gala that West’s “online behavior has been worrying”. The spokesman said West received a call on Friday night saying he was no longer welcome to perform at the gala.

Despite this, West will be nominated for as many as five different award categories at the gala this year. The rapper has not commented on whether he intends to arrive at the gala despite the cancellation of his scheduled gig.

West last rose to the center of a stir because of his behavior earlier this week when he barked at a comedian-presenter Trevor Noahia with the racist word “coon,” meaning a dark-skinned man who belittles his ethnic background. Because of what happened, West’s Instagram account was temporarily suspended as he violated the rules of the social media platform with his post.

West is believed to have stalked Noah because he had criticized West’s use of his ex-wife in The Daily Show Kim Kardashiania towards.

The publication was then removed and West’s account was suspended for 24 hours.
