Whether there will be something new in the form of an album, an EP or a single is not known.

Rumor has it that there will soon be new music from rapper and beat maker Kanye West. His producer Fya Man has already hinted that new Ye material will be released soon. It would be the first since the unfinished Donda 2.

Long silence from Kanye West after anti-Semitism scandal

Kanye West’s abstinence from the music world was self-inflicted. In the past few months, the musician has been more conspicuous for his anti-Semitic outbursts and his admiration for Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, rather than being creative. The result was not only criticism from colleagues from the music industry – his advertising partners, including Adidas, also refrained.

But now he is said to have devoted himself more to music, which should soon find its way into the public domain. According to “NBC News”, two sources close to him are said to have confirmed the news. Earlier in the day, gangsta-rap pioneer Ice Cube claimed that West was “feeling great” and planning to reappear on “the other side” — whatever that means. His longtime producer Fya Man, who won a Grammy with him for the song “Hurricane”, also spoke of a new LP. During an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit in early August, Fya Man revealed that fans should expect “the old Ye but with a new guise.”

Kanye West’s current album DONDA 2 was released in February 2022. However, the controversial musician never finished the recordings, which is why DONDA 2 was never officially released and again caused misunderstanding. Whether his new work will redeem Ye in the pop world remains to be seen. He took a first step in this direction in early August when West performed in Rome with Travis Scott – his first live performance since the anti-Semitism scandal.
