Kanye West wants to buy the network Parler

Because Kanye West was no longer allowed to log into Instagram and Twitter, he is now allegedly deciding to buy a social network. The amount is not known, but the purchase is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022.

On Monday (October 17), Parliament Technologies announced that Ye will buy the Parler platform. George Farmer, Parler’s CEO, says: “This deal will change the world and the way we think about free speech. Ye is taking a breakthrough step toward free speech and never again has to fear being removed from social media.”

George Farmer is the husband of Candace Owens. She and Kanye West wore the “WHITE LIVES MATTER” long-sleeved tops, which earned the rapper racism allegations.

West says:“In a world where conservative opinions are considered controversial, we must ensure we have the right to express ourselves freely.”

What is Parler?

The Parler platform works similarly to Twitter, but here the messages are limited to 1000 characters, which is a little more than Twitter. Parler is increasingly being used by conservative to right-wing extremists. The site was offline for a month following the Washington Capitol storm in January 2021. The reason for this is said to have been an increase in violence-related content.

Well-known users of the platform are Eric and Ivanka Trump, Candace Owens and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. Followers of the Proud Boys and QAnon can also be found on the site.
