Kanye West is being sued for $1 million by an ex-employee

Kanye West probably didn’t care about the safety of his employees.

Kanye West is in trouble again. This time the rapper and music producer is being sued for “hazardous working conditions”. A former employee of West, named Tony Saxon, filed a complaint after he had to manage one of the musician’s construction projects under poor conditions.

As Sky News reports, Saxon is said to have been hired by Kanye West to oversee the construction of his new home in Malibu, California. He was also responsible for security and house maintenance. Saxon repeatedly encountered sometimes dangerous working conditions and had difficulty fulfilling West’s eccentric wishes.

The rapper demanded that all windows and electricity be removed from the area so that Ye could have a kind of bunker. And this was just the beginning of West’s erratic behavior. According to Saxon, Yeezy’s mood quickly changed from friendly and understanding to short-tempered and angry. He was never sure what mood he would find the musician in.

In addition, Saxon was forced to spend the night on the completely empty property during this time. Kanye West didn’t provide any sleeping accommodations. There weren’t even beds, so Saxon had to sleep on an improvised mattress. Due to the renovation work, there were loose power cables everywhere, which posed an additional danger.

After Saxon complained about the conditions, West refused to pay him. The caretaker was only paid $20,000 of the $1 million promised to him for his work. West responded to further threats by calling Saxon “an enemy” like “the Kardashians or the Clintons.”

Now Tony Saxon wants to sue the controversial musician for the outstanding sum. It’s just one in a series of lawsuits Kanye West is facing. The sports brand Adidas demanded $75 million back from Ye after he was said to have “mismanaged” a marketing fund.
