Kanye West banned from Twitter just a day after returning due to anti-Semitic tweets | show

Kanye ‘Ye’ West has lost access to his Twitter account, barely a day after he made his return to the messaging site. A Twitter spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that his account has been locked because Ye had broken the rules and guidelines. It is not clear how long the rapper has been without access to his account.

The measure is probably related to a tweet with anti-Semitic texts, which has since been removed. Ye was previously restricted by Instagram. According to NBC, that sanction would also have to do with anti-Semitic statements.

It’s not the first time West’s social media accounts have been restricted. West was banned from Instagram for 24 hours earlier this year for making racist comments about the host of The Daily ShowTrevor Noah.
