The fire brigade of the Westhoek zone received the call at five to six. Upon arrival, the roof was already ablaze. Two of the three compartments in the converted farmhouse were on fire.
The six residents have been preventively transferred to AZ West in Veurne. The extinguishing work will last all night, including subsequent extinguishing.
The cause of the fire is still unclear. A fire expert from the public prosecutor’s office arrives on site.
