Kamagurka presents new work in Roeselare

Kamagurka is known for his often absurd, ambiguous, but always surprising cartoons. The cartoonist says he always starts a new work very seriously, but he still manages to add a joke or an absurd layer. “I also like that people can laugh at something and still keep looking at it. You can say, it’s a cartoon and we’re off again. But with those drawings you can laugh and you can look at them again because there are many kinds of layers in it,” says Kamagurka.

Kamagurka’s new works can be admired until September 30 in the gallery in Roeselare.
