Kaisa Mäkäräinen confirms that she has divorced her husband Jarkko from Siltakorve.
Seiska reports in August, the ex-biathlon star broke up with his long-term partner. Mäkäräinen and Siltakorpi did not agree to publicly comment on the news earlier.
Now Mäkäräinen decided to tell about it himself on Instagram.
– Unfortunately, Jarko and I broke up about a year ago after much deliberation. We didn’t feel it was necessary to inform our loved ones about the matter, because it was naturally difficult for us too, Mäkäräinen writes.
Mäkäräinen says that the two are still on good terms.
– Due to work matters, Jarkko only moved out in the spring. We are still on really good terms, which warms my heart a lot. Life has gone on peacefully little by little.
The two were together for more than 15 years. Siltakorve also played a significant role in the background of Mäkäräinen’s top career.
