Kaczynski: ‘American nuclear weapons welcome in Poland’ | Abroad

As far as we know, the Americans have no plans to place nuclear weapons in Poland, but Kaczynski says this could “change quickly” under the influence of the Russian war in Ukraine. According to him, it would also be a logical step to have nuclear weapons on the eastern border of the NATO area.

Kaczynski also hopes that the Americans will strengthen their military presence in Europe. There are currently 100,000 US soldiers stationed in Europe, according to the US Department of Defense. According to Kaczynski, that should be 150,000. Kaczynski also reiterates in the interview his wish that NATO send a peacekeeping force to Ukraine.
