Käärijä, whose real name is Jere Pöyhönen, who represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest and finished second in the competition, will perform this coming Saturday, May 20, at the Helsinki Ice Hall. Although the gig is sold out, the game is not lost.
Yle says in its press release that Käärijä’s first concert after the vieshumu will be shown live on Yle TV2 channel and Yle Areena on Saturday from 20:00.
– In Liverpool, we saw an absolutely amazing, ecstatic wit show. Next Saturday, the charm will move to the Helsinki Ice Hall, where the atmosphere will be raised to the ceiling! The wrapper glows in the announcement.

Käärijä promises that the same energy can be seen at the gig as on the stage. There will also be surprises and familiar dancers from the Eurovision Song Contest.
