Kaapo Kähkönen continues his career with the San Jose Sharks. Suomalaisveskari and the club reached an agreement on the contract between Monday and Tuesday night.
Kähkönen, 25, will continue with the Sharks on a two-year contract. His salary is $2.75 million per season.
Kähkönen was traded to the Sharks in the middle of last season from the Minnesota Wild. He managed to play 11 matches in his new club with a save percentage of 91.6. In total, he has played 65 games in the NHL.
