K-Beauty trends: 2024 news from Korea
Sustainability, vegan cosmetics and sun protection: these will be the macro themes of the K-Beauty for 2024. The heartleat (or heart leaf) also known as “Houttuynia cordata“, instead, it has powerful soothing and antioxidant properties. Perfect for skin conditions such as acne, dermatitis and irritation, it can be combined with niacinamide and is formulated for skin care products, such as toners and cleansers.
Finally, among the skincare ingredients of 2024 we also find ginseng, a root rich in restorative, toning and elasticising properties. Its extract is used in cosmetics dedicated to the care of mature and time-worn skin.
