Keeper Juha Metsoladefender Jyrki Jokipakka and striker Miro Aaltonen broke out of their KHL contracts. The initiative to break the contracts came from the players themselves.
The trio had contracts with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. The papers were canceled on Monday so that the trio’s KHL rights remain with Avtomobilist.
According to Iltalehti, the 30-year-old Jokipakka will move to the League. Good betting The next club in the pack is Kärpät – or one of the clubs in Tampere.
The kit is from Tampere and the lynx of Ilves.
Jokipakka has played in KHL for five seasons. The man’s clubs in the Eastern League were Sochi and Siberia. In the NHL, Jokipakka has played 150 regular season matches.
Metsola to Kloten?
As Iltalehti said earlier, Metsola and the Swiss club Kloten entered into a conditional agreement in the spring. According to it, Kloten set a date by which the Finn had to get out of his KHL agreement.
Only when a Tampere resident is free from Russia’s obligations would the agreement become valid. Now Metsola got out of KHL paper and will most likely move to Switzerland near Zurich.
The 33-year-old Metsola played in KHL for the last seven seasons. The man’s team last season was Ufa.
Aaltonen to Switzerland
Aaltonen, 29, has been a highly sought after player in various leagues. The attacker is also likely to move to Switzerland.
Aaltonen has five seasons of experience with KHL. Joensuu bred won Olympic gold in Beijing in February.
