Juventus veteran Paul Pogba has been provisionally banned by the Italian anti-doping agency NADO. The reason is a positive doping test as part of a control after the away game at Udinese Calcio (3-0) on the first matchday of the new Serie A season on August 20th.
According to NADO, Pogba’s doping sample did not detect endogenous testosterone and a correspondingly elevated level. According to Italian reports, the result still needs to be confirmed by a B sample, but in the worst case, Pogba could face a four-year ban.
