Italy’s record champions Juventus Turin will be at the top of Serie A for at least 48 hours.
At AC Monza, the Old Lady won 2-1 (1-0) and initially moved past Inter Milan; the previous league leaders will only be in action on Sunday against champions SSC Napoli (8:45 p.m./DAZN).
Federico Gatti scored in injury time to win (90+4), shortly before Valentin Carboni had equalized for Monza (90+1). Juve, which had missed out on making it to first place the previous week due to a 1-1 draw in the top game against Inter, took an early lead (12th) through Frenchman Adrien Rabiot.
Shortly before, Dusan Vlahovic had missed a penalty for Turin (11).
After 14 games, Juventus is in the lead with 33 points, followed by Inter (32) and, at some distance, AC Milan (26) and Naples (24).
