While Juventus Turin secures the services of Filip Kostic, Eintracht Frankfurt apparently uses the Italian record champions in return.
Filip Kostic landed in Turin on Thursday to complete his move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Juventus. The Serie A club announced this via Twitter.
Kostic said goodbye to the SBU and its fans in an emotional Instagram post.
If you believe the Italian offshoot of the pay-TV broadcaster “Sky”, Frankfurt and Juve have not only reached an agreement about Kostic in the last few days.
A transfer is also processed in the opposite direction in a timely manner – namely that of Luca Pellegrini. In the room is a loan from the one-time Italian national player to Eintracht. The talks between the parties are well advanced, it is said.
New track player for Eintracht Frankfurt
The 23-year-old is scheduled to travel to Germany for a medical check-up on Friday and then sign a contract in Frankfurt.
Pellegrini is a trained left-back but can also play this role in the back five favored by SBU coach Oliver Glasner. Kostic acted in this system as a rail player on the left flank.
Pellegrini’s contract in Turin runs until 2025.
Eintracht Frankfurt: Oliver Glasner announces “prompt” transfer
He switched from AS Roma to Juventus in 2019 for 22 million euros, but has not been able to assert himself there so far.
Loans to Cagliari Calcio and Genoa followed. Eintracht Frankfurt would be Pellegrini’s first stop outside of Italy.
Glasner has announced a “prompt” signing for the left flank following Wednesday’s 2-0 UEFA Super Cup defeat by Real Madrid. Now those responsible for the club are probably doing their job properly.
