Juve, Zauli leaves the Under23 and goes to SudTirol in Serie B

After three seasons with Juventus, the coach changes his shirt. The favorite for the succession is Massimo Brambilla, coming from the Atalanta Primavera. And the name of Gilardino appears for the Primavera

The news had been in the air for at least a couple of weeks, now it’s official: Lamberto Zauli leaves Juventus after three seasons (the first on the Primavera bench, the other two in the Second team) to join SudTirol, newly promoted to Serie B The coach has contributed not a little to the enhancement of the club’s talents, raising the bar of the Under 23 with the record of points in Serie C and the lowest average age of the staff since the project was born. Zauli will meet again in Alto Adige the diesse Paolo Bravo, with whom he has already worked in the 2015-16 season in Santarcangelo. And he shouldn’t bring any technical collaborator from Juve, who will soon officially appoint his heir.

PARK BENCH

The favorite is Massimo Brambilla, coming from the Atalanta Primavera. It is not yet certain, but the latest meetings in management have registered a greater consensus on his candidacy. Andrea Bonatti remains in the running, already a protagonist in Juventus in recent years with the Under 19 in the league and also at European level with the last historic qualification to the Youth League Final Four. The name of the Brescia coach appeared among other things in the shortlist for the Cremonese bench in A and continues to be evaluated for a bench in B yet to be assigned. The outsider for the leadership of the HCL second team is Stefano Vecchi, current manager of Feralpi Salò and for many years at the Inter Milan Primavera, who has produced various talents. The name of Alberto Gilardino, on the other hand, could make a good return on the Juventus management table at the Primavera level: there are several candidates in the running for the eventual post Bonatti, the final choice by the weekend.
