Juve transfer market: Arthur, Ramsey, Rabiot, the ways out are far away. Here because

The interests of other clubs are scarce, their salaries are high: in Serie A the three have no market, Juve aims to place them abroad, with exchange or loan solutions in order to lighten the amount of salaries

While waiting for the latest on Di Maria and Pogba, potential free admissions, the need to sell is very topical at Juve, with the triple aim of lightening the amount of salaries, making room for the squad, and maybe succeeding – at least in one case on three – to create capital gains.

An easy goal on paper, but rather complex in the real market when it comes to Arthur, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot. Here is the situation, case by case.

Arthur

Arthur arrived from Barcelona in the summer of 2020 through an exchange operation that led to Pjanic’s exit, producing two off-market valuations: 60 million for the Bosnian, 72 for the Brazilian. So the amortization of the former blaugrana still weighs around 40 million, making it virtually impossible to sell it, unless a huge loss is budgeted. Arthur, however, has a net salary of over 5 million, which the contract guarantees him until 2025. A very long time, for a technical project that has already seen him on the sidelines in the season of complete recovery after surgery. Allegri had the opportunity to try it in various versions, in the 31 times he called him into question, but in the end the Brazilian did not leave the role of vice-Locatelli, not convincing either as a play or as a mezzala. For this reason, his characteristics do not allow us to imagine a different person status next season, and therefore Juve and the player’s entourage are looking for a different solution, given that Arthur himself would like to play more consistently in the season interspersed with the World Cup. The loan on paper is the most viable option, an exchange would be a welcome solution, but at the moment Juve has not received any requests. The Premier is the most likely destination, with Roma in the background, in a possible future negotiation for Zaniolo.

Ramsey

The Welshman returned from the Glasgow Rangers loan is effectively out of the Juventus project and Juventus are working to terminate his contract (from 7 million net, expiring in 2023). This is not an easy operation, which the club could replace with a new loan that allows it (at least) not to have to pay the entire salary. Arrived in 2019 on a free transfer, the only chances at the exit appear right now linked to a loan in the Premier.

Rabiot

The case of the Frenchman is on its own: the World champion could attract some clubs both in the Premier and in Ligue1, after a season in which he not only totaled 45 appearances, but also received support on more than one occasion, also because in rosa Allegri had no other mezzala with his leg and at the same time his willingness to fold. He missed the goal, and this was a notable drawback of the season. But he is still a player that the coach has relied on. Not only that, having arrived as a free agent in 2019, he could now bring an income to the Juventus coffers, especially since it is the player himself who has expressed the desire to change the air, as also the Equipe has confirmed. Juve, for its part, would be ready to accept the request, with a view to relieving themselves of the last year of a net salary of 7 million and not to lose it at zero parameter in a year. Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are at the window, the mother-agent Veronique is already at work. Juve aims to collect 20-30 million. Yet even for him, in this market still blocked by scarce cash, the way out does not appear around the corner.
