Juve, Sartori idea. The wizard of the Goddess can be paired with Cherubini

Perhaps Turin was in his destiny. Giovanni Sartori, former Chievo director of miracles, now at Atalanta, in 2006 was one step away from moving to the first capital of Italy, however. In the end, nothing came of it with Toro, but in the last period his name has returned to circulate with insistence in the Savoy circles, alongside Juventus. Sartori has a Rossoneri past (he won the Scudetto with AC Milan in the 1978-1979 season, he was a forward) but could have a managerial future in a black and white color.

The fact that he was in the stands at the last Juventus-Genoa doesn’t mean much, because Sartori is often seen at the Allianz Stadium. It is part of his way of interpreting the job of manager of the technical area, always around the stadiums in Italy and Europe: the players prefer to watch them live rather than see them on TV. And this is one of the reasons why Juventus also like it, which had already thought of him a year ago: his name was given by Fabio Paratici before his farewell and now he is back in fashion. Sartori seems the right profile to support the Football Director Federico Cherubini, but with a more field role. He would be a support figure, an experienced sports director who has the fable Chievo in his curriculum, up to the Champions League preliminaries, and the extraordinary growth of Atalanta, where he landed 8 years ago. The Nerazzurri have recently hired Lee Congerton, the new head of international development in the sport area, and the farewell at the end of the year seems obvious. There have already been contacts with Juventus, but Sartori (who is also of interest to other clubs: we are talking about Parma and Bologna) is not the only one to have been tested: among the candidates there is also Cristiano Giuntoli, sporting director of the Naples, another name that was already around last season.
