Juve plays waiting. He remains under wraps on the Pogba affair but follows closely with extreme attention, keeping the Milinkovic Savic hypothesis warm. From the front of the Serbian midfielder – who was the first alternative to Rabiot in case the Frenchman didn’t sign a renewal and remains Giuntoli and Allegri’s first target for this transfer market session – a little pressure could actually come soon: the Lazio midfielder has also ended up in Saudi Arabia’s sights and at a certain point he will have to take stock of his future.

POGBA IN ARABIA

Pogba has just returned to Turin on a private flight from Jeddah: he would have visited the facilities of Al-Ittihad, the club that has entrusted the bench to Espirito Santo and has already hired his compatriots Kanté and Benzema. The weekend in Arabia mustn’t necessarily have changed Paul’s idea, who is working to recover his best physical condition and would still be seen in the black and white shirt, but everything needs to be verified in the next few days. Juve won’t hold him back, on the contrary – after understanding his availability well he will be able to guarantee for the new season – they will ask him to review his salary downwards. While to be among the stars who will be protagonists in the Saudi League, 100 million would be ready for him in three seasons. And the player, almost thirty years old and recovering from some complex years due to his precarious physical condition, would also have the possibility of recovering top condition in a less pressing football than in Europe.

MILINKOVIC GOAL

With Pogba’s release, Juve would go straight to Milinkovic Savic: the Serbian would like to stay in Italy, Allegri has always indicated him among his favorite players in Serie A and the moment to take him now would seem the right one. It is true that Lotito is asking for 40 million to let him go just one year after the expiry of the contract, but the figure is negotiable and there is willingness to consider the inclusion of technical counterparts. From Pellegrini, who would like to stay in the capital, to Rovella, who Sarri appreciates a lot: the conditions for igniting and carrying on the negotiation to the end would all be there. Juve would also save on salary, considering that Pogba receives 8 million plus 2 in bonuses (he is the highest paid in the squad) and that Milinkovic Savic would not earn more than 4-5 million between fixed and variable parts, almost doubling the salary he has earned so far.
