Jussi Olkinuora moves to Switzerland

Jussi Olkinuora’s career will continue next season in the team coached by Antti Törmänen.

With the lions’ paint deservedly repelled in recent years Jussi Olkinuora has entered into an agreement with the Swiss EHC Biel-Bienne.

Olkinuora contract Antti Törmänen with a coached coach will cover the upcoming season. The attackers, who are often seen in the Lion, also play in the company Toni Rajala and Jere Sallinen.

In the season that ended, Biel-Bienne fell in the quarterfinals.

In the previous three seasons, Olkinuora played in KHL. Olkinuora, who fought for the Lions World Championship silver last year, terminated his contract with Metallurg Magnitogorsk in early March after the start of the war in Ukraine.

In the national team, Olkinuora has also been winning Olympic gold in Beijing and World Cup gold three years ago in the role of second guard. Olkinuora is part of the competition team that will start the World Championships in Tampere on Friday.
