The sequel is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2025. You can find all the information here.
Two years after “Jurassic World 3: A New Age,” it has been confirmed that another “Jurassic World” blockbuster is being worked on.
Universal was able to win David Koepp as screenwriter. The 60-year-old was already involved as a writer on the first “Jurassic Park” film in 1993, directed by Steven Spielberg. Koepp also co-wrote the sequel “Jurassic Park: The Lost World” in 1997. According to media reports, the “Jurassic World” sequel will hit the big screen as early as 2025. Which means Koepp’s script must obviously be well advanced.
However, there is no information about the direction and actors yet. Frank Marshall and Spielberg are said to be producing.
“New Jurassic Era”
It is still unclear whether the new film will be a classic sequel or a reboot. But according to “The Hollywood Reporter”, a “new Jurassic era” will be ushered in with a completely new plot and characters. A return of “Jurassic World” stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard can probably be ruled out.
Forerunner of special effects
The original 1993 film redefined special effects and had a lasting impact on pop culture. Over the course of three decades, six films have been made that have grossed more than $6 billion worldwide. The original Jurassic Park adapted Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel.
