The leader of Esquerra defends in EL PERIÓDICO that the socialists “appreciate” that there are independence supporters who do not bet on the dialogue table
The spokesperson for Together for Catalonia, Joseph Riushas replicated this Saturday the statements of the leader of Esquerra, Oriol Junqueras, who in an interview in EL PERIÓDICO asserts that “the PSOE appreciates that there are independentists who do not bet on the dialogue table”. Through social networks, Rius has defended that “what the PSOE is sure to appreciate is having a partner in Madrid who votes for free budgets that allow it to disinvest in Rodalies in Catalonia.”
Junqueras explained that time “is not an independent variable of the political conflict, but rather depends on the democratic force” because the more there is “and the more limited and eroded the State is by international rulings and resolutions, the shorter” the time in the to achieve disconnection. Now, he says that the negotiation can take place in many ways, and with many different tables, and admits that there are limitations in the current dialogue table, but that its existence is already a “success” in itself.
For her part, the president of Junts, Laura Borrashas charged ERC for not supporting the ANC demonstration called for the Diada and has stated that, “instead of discouraging and demobilizing” the independence movement, we must “be on the side of the people and accept criticism” of the government of Pere Aragones. This was said at the opening of the first open day held by the Parliament, on the occasion of the Diada of September 11.

Borràs has underlined that the Diadas are “protective, and even more so after 1-O”, so beyond the controversy over the absence of Aragonès, and of the ERC ‘consellers’, “people must be summoned “to attend this mobilization. “For many reasons of discouragement and disappointment, there are still many more that are worth going out to claim that the people of Catalonia voted on 1-O”, he stressed. For Borràs, “mobilization has always been a factor that has made us move forward, especially in the Diadas of the last ten years”.
Borras He has asked that “those who have decided not to go give explanations” to the demonstration tomorrow, Sunday, and warned: “What is needed, instead of discouraging and demobilizing, is the opposite, it is to stand by the people, accept the criticism, accept it, listen to the complaints and, precisely, work to remedy them.”
