Heavy crash on Easter Sunday at Hardenbergplatz (Charlottenburg). A car and a police team car crashed in the immediate vicinity of the Zoologischer Garten train station.
The police vehicle turned into the intersection around 1 p.m. with so-called special and right-of-way, i.e. with blue lights and a horn, and then collided with the car, the spokesman said.
The force of the accident caused the emergency vehicle to tip over on its side.
The driver and two police officers were injured in the collision, a police spokesman said on request. The spokesman could not yet say how many police officers were in the squad car when the accident occurred.
The fire brigade arrived and the entire intersection was cordoned off.
