Julie Smeets (22) and her boyfriend had planned an idyllic road and surf trip. But it didn’t come to that, in a flash their dream trip turned into a nightmare. Julie was killed in a tragic accident on France’s A26 motorway. “She was disarming with her smile. A top daughter and a very sweet sister,” says her family.
