Julian Zigerli’s new book “Doing it all wrong since 2011”

The Swiss avant-garde designer Julian Zigerli has processed the experiences of his twelve years of experience on national and international catwalks in his new book, “Doing it all wrong since 2011”.

The designer, who was born in Murten in 1984 and lives and works in Zurich and Berlin, is one of the most famous designers in Switzerland. He has made a name for himself with 3D prints that are both eccentric and expressionistic.

Over the years, Zigerli has been part of numerous interdisciplinary collaborations with brands such as Zimmerli, Swarovski and Qwstion, but also with renowned artists such as Katharina Grosse, Walter Pfeiffer and Shirana Shahbazi. His work blurs the boundaries between the fields of fashion, art, photography and design.

The 200-page book is the first publication to provide an overview of Zigerli’s work. In addition to 130 photos, it also contains stories and detailed documentation of the previous collections as well as contributions from Rainer Brenner, Simon Froehling, Tobias Langley Hunt and Caroline Odette Jebens.

“Doing it all wrong since 2011” was published by Distance Verlag and is available from October 26th for 54 euros/54 Swiss francs.
