Julian Nagelsmann makes the bosses “frown”

The unrest he himself generated about coach Julian Nagelsmann apparently also left its mark on those responsible at FC Bayern.

According to “Bild”, Nagelsmann’s public appearances, some of which are controversial, cause “frowns” among the club bosses. You notice that the 35-year-old head coach keeps getting in the way with his style – not a good reference for a Bayern Munich trainer.

Nagelsmann once again made headlines after the 3-2 defeat in the Bundesliga. In the dressing room after the game, he complained about the debatable red card against Dayot Upamecano after just eight minutes.

In this context, the team of referees described Nagelsmann as a “softened pack”. The DFB control committee began investigations. There is a risk of a fine or even a ban.

FC Bayern: no discussion after cabin freak out?

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic then demonstratively stood behind Nagelsmann. “The coach is emotional,” explained the Bosnian.

According to the report, Nagelsmann has not yet had to report to Salihamidzic and Co. because of his derailment.

The cabin freak out is not the first point that causes discussions in the Nagelsmann case. Because of differences with him and at his instigation, long-time goalkeeping coach Toni Tapalovic, a close confidant and good friend of the currently injured captain Manuel Neuer, was fired. Neuer then expressed his displeasure in an interview.

In addition, Nagelsmann recently compared his situation at FC Bayern to a shark tank. “And it’s not bad if you’re in the middle and there are a few puffer fish on the outside,” he continued.

Bayern’s season has been a roller coaster ride

In terms of sport, the current season of the German record champions is like a rollercoaster ride. Strong performances like in the 1-0 win at Paris Saint-Germain during the week alternate with setbacks like in Gladbach.

Even the firmly planned championship will not be a sure-fire success for FC Bayern, but a hard piece of work.

After 21 match days, second-placed Borussia Dortmund and third-placed Union Berlin are level on points with Munich – a snapshot that neither Nagelsmann nor the bosses should like.
