Julian Lennon sells Beatles memorabilia as NFTs | celebrities

The jacket John Lennon wore in the movie ‘Magical Mystery Tour’, a cape he wore in ‘Help!’, three guitars and a handwritten arrangement by Paul McCartney for ‘Hey Jude’. They are not the least objects that Julian Lennon wants to auction. They are all from his private collection. Only you will not be able to purchase the objects themselves, but you will be able to purchase a non-fungible token (NFT) of them. That is a non-exchangeable attribute that guarantees ownership. In this case you become the owner of an ‘audiovisual collector’s item’.

“I’ve been collecting those personal items for thirty years,” Julian says. “I was a little tired of them being locked away in a safe. I had to keep them there because I didn’t want them to get damaged. I felt guilty because I kept all that stuff tucked away, which I think is a unique way to continue my father’s legacy and show people what collection I have.”

The auction will take place on February 7, 2022 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time in Beverly Hills and on juliensauctions.com
