A road cyclist rushed to help a racing brother drifting into a ditch in Belgium.

The World Road Cycling Tour was raced in Belgium over the weekend, and injuries were not avoided for the 257.5-kilometer journey.
There were less than 60 kilometers left in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège race after France Julian Alaphilippe drifted from the road through the ditch into a tree as a result of the crash.
Athletes in a crash with Alaphilippe continued their journey. Just one racing brother, Romain Bardetsuspended its competition to help the injured Frenchman.
– It was a nightmare. As I looked around, I saw Julian drop perhaps about five or six meters, Bardet said To VenoNews upon reaching the finish line.

Bardet did not resume the race until the medical staff arrived to help Alaphilippe.
