Julia Kuijpers from Landal Hunerwold State in Wateren has been nominated for FNV recreation prize Talent 2023

Julia Kuijpers (24) from Ravenswoud has been nominated this year for the FNV recreation award Talent 2023. Kuijpers works at Landal Hunerwold State in Wateren. Every year the FNV awards prizes in the recreation sector, the prize for talent of the year is being awarded for the first time this year.

The ‘Talent’ recreation award is for an employee who has presented himself in a special way, is distinctive and a true ambassador of the recreation industry. Julia Kuijpers has been working at Landal Hunerwold State in Wateren for 6 years.

Kuijpers started as an intern/substitute and has worked his way up within the company over 6 years. “She has been interim park manager since last June and will be appointed park manager from January 1 next year. During her time with us, she has grown in her position and has emerged as a true talent with a big heart for the park, the guests and employees,” says colleague Helga Goettsch.

Last three

Last summer, Julia’s colleagues secretly nominated her for this recreational award. They recently received a call from the FNV that Julia is among the last three nominees from all over the Netherlands. “This was a very big surprise for the entire team.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Recreation Day on Wednesday, December 6 in the Archeon in Alpen aan de Rijn. The entire team will be present on this festive day. “Although it is now up to the jury to determine the winner, according to her colleagues from Landal Hunerwold State, Julia has already won,” says proud colleague Goettsch.
