Frank de Wit won a silver medal at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. The judoka from Heemskerk lost to the Russian David Karapetyan in the final.
De Wit reached the final in the category up to 81 kilograms. He lost to Karapetyan who made the difference with a waza-ari. The 27-year-old De Wit last won gold at a Grand Slam in 2017. That year he triumphed in Abu Dhabi and Paris.
