Judges of Chechnya will consider the issue of terminating the resignation of Yangulbaev on February 3

On Thursday, February 3, the Qualification Board of Chechen Judges will consider the issue of ending the resignation of the judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic, Saidi Yangulbaev, reported on the college website.

The presentation was presented by the Chairman of the Council of Judges of the region Alavdin Gardaloev.

According to the law, the board can suspend powers and resignation of a judge if he is recognized as “missing”, a criminal case has been initiated against him or he is running for election. The judge loses immunity only in case of arrest.

The day before, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called on the countries in which the members of the Yangulbaev family who left Russia are located to extradite them. He called the Yangulbaevs terrorists, and those who “cover” them means “assisting terrorists.” According to him, “Chechens don’t forgive just like that” and the family of a retired judge now cannot find “a free place” – “neither on this earth, nor in the next world.”

Yangulbayev and his daughter Aliya left the country in January after his wife, Zarema Musaeva, was taken from Nizhny Novgorod to Grozny, and Kadyrov demanded that they be “destroyed” as terrorist accomplices in case of resistance. Before that, the son of Yangulbaev Abubakar went abroad.
