Judge: Minister did not discriminate against Jehovah’s Witnesses

Jehovah’s Witnesses have sued the Dutch state for discrimination, according to a publication in Fidelity earlier this week. The reason: only their handling of sexual abuse has been scrutinized by the government, while other religious groups remained unaffected. Former Minister of Legal Protection Sander Dekker ordered this. Jehovah’s Witnesses have about 30,000 members in the Netherlands, their head office is in Emmen.
