It’s no longer a secret that Frankfurt am Main is home to and a hotbed of talent for many artists from the rap scene. Both women are still newcomers to the German rap scene and are part of the “Authentic Athletic Records” label. The video for the single “Tokio” shows the two rappers as guests and later taking hostages, including theft, from a – well – quite stuffy heteronormative family.
Liz celebrated her debut in 2021 with her album BLEIBE REAL. As a follow-up, she released this year’s album MONA LIZA. The Frankfurt native has also won over the rap duo Celo & Abdi. The joint single “#weisstduwasichmein (prod. by FNSHRS)” was released on January 6th of this year. The feature “Tokio” is Josi’s seventh single.
